Benton County Certifies Election Without Answering Hard Questions

Unanswered questions include:

  1. Why was absentee ballot board member not allowed to do the appropriate amount of signature verification work?
  2. Why did Sr Deputy Auditor say ballot images weren't active?
  3. House race in 14B was 49.40% but will not be recounted unless candidate wants to pay.

The attendee, who was absentee ballot board member, recently submitted official paperwork to investigate the sample ballots with timing marks lacks the word "SAMPLE" which allows ballots to be printed.
